Snuggle time with "Lil' Tar" the kitty and sweet

Camber

Week One:

The puppies cannot see or hear, but they can for sure sense when mama walks in!

Week Two:

The puppies eyes are open/opening and they are starting to pick up on the sounds around them.  Their personalities are just beginning to show a little.

Week Three

The pups are really getting to the cute stage.  They have found their voices and are getting more and more active.

Candi

Week Four:

We started them on moist puppy chow and they love it!  Play time outside is now a daily event enjoyed by all. :)

Bath time for muddy pups! Even Jenna assisted!

Week Five

The pups are eating much more hard food, and Jenna is slowly beginning to slow them down on nursing.   They can hardly wait for yard romp time!

Week Six

Time for a first vet visit!  Shots, examinations, and wormer.  Mom is still in the process of weaning.

Week Seven

Most of the day is now spent outside in the sun or shade and they have graduated to a bigger pen!  The pups are just about ready for their new home!

Week Eight

Suddenly, everything is a game.  Flower beds are perfect for digging and napping, the garden is a fun place to play tag, the grill cover is a blast to run under or chew on, and cats?  Pull their tails, bark and them, and see what happens!  The first two pups left for their new home.

Week Nine

They continue to grow and mature every week.  Another pup left for his new home, but there are 6 more puppies still waiting to be claimed.

Week Ten

Ten weeks old mean another visit to the vet for vaccination number 2!  They out-grew their carrier, so the drive to the office was interesting.  :)  Another pup left for a good home this week.  Each pup is has its own unique personality that makes them special.  We are still looking for good homes for 5 of them.

...Waiting for me to set the food dish down! (My trick to get them all sitting still at the same time.)

Morning play time!!

Good behavior at feeding time! :)

Week Eleven

Two more puppies (Cannon and Cara) were taken to their new homes and families.  Only three pups left, and play time is not so hetic anymore.  It's sad to see them go, but rewarding to place them in good homes.

Even better behavior at snack time... :)

Week Twelve

The last three pups awaiting a good home are eating up the extra attention.  They are smart, beautiful pups and lots of fun to be around.  Check out their behavior at the bottom video. :)

Week Thirteen

Candi is now living with a farm family near us, and we decided that Cliff will stay here. :)  Courtney is still available.

Week Fourteen

Made another trip the the vet for their last set of shots... we are done for a year now! :)  A family in MI is coming to pick up Courtney this Saturday.  All the pups are sold.

A great way to spend a rainy, fall day: inside on the back entrance rug.  Jenna, Cliff, and Courtney...
